Interviews with Delia Derbyshire are exceptionally rare. Occasionally she gave brief insights into her work, but lengthy discussions were unheard of. In 1998 and 1999 she was interviewed by Peter 'Sonic Boom' Kember (for American art and culture magazine Surface), and John Cavanagh (twice, once for print in Boazine, and once for BBC Radio Scotland).
